Some people ask, "Is the

|
others ask, "Is the glass
half empty?" |
|
we ask, "Is it Vodka or
Water?" |

The
Win Win Group |
 |
|
In 2006
thewinwingroup Namibia (Pty) Ltd was established to bring
the above benefits to the Namibian business community. The
company is now a majority Black Namibian owned company
formed via a partnership between the Namibian
shareholders, who have strong advertising and marketing
capabilities and thewinwingroup South Africa.
We were off to a good start - at the end of 2006 we won
Cell One as our first main client. Within a year we helped
establish the new Cell One brand, with it’s distinctive
corporate green, as the second most recognisable brand in
Namibia.
In 2008 we added Old Mutual and NamPower as clients.
Proving that if you deliver good work and great results
for one client others will follow. Meatco and Shell joined
our growing portfolio of clients in 2009 along with
several other smaller clients who helped diversify our
client base.
Currently we employ 28 people across three different
divisions, ‘Marketing (which includes traditional
advertising), ‘Communication’ (which includes PR, brand
reputation management and events) and ‘Learning’ (which
includes activations, road-shows, industrial theatre,
educational programmes and formal training). |

Who
We Are: |
| |
|
The
winwingroup Namibia is more than your average ad agency.
In fact we are nothing like your ‘run of the mill’
agency:- pursuing clients’ goals and creating real
tangible results for them, is what we live for. Winning
creative awards, although nice, isn’t what our clients pay
us for, so they are not our main focus.
This makes us very different - although we are still proud
of our awards!
Instead we bring together a fusion of Marketing,
Communication and Learning that combines the best that
advertising agencies, P.R. companies and training and
motivational consultants have to offer.
This 'fusion' service is unique to the winwingroup Namibia
and our 'activation' approach has added huge power and
impact to our clients' marketing, brand building and sales
campaigns. Reaching target audiences in regions, that
would often otherwise be missed by traditional
above-the-line media.
This has led to us winning prestige awards, which is nice.
But our clients' goals and result are always our main
objective. |

How We
Started |
| |
|
thewinwingroup started as a diverse family of companies,
who offered services in communication, industrial theater,
training and marketing.
This ‘group’ of Johannesburg-based businesses consolidated
under one integrated offering - thewinwingroup - in 2000
focusing on using their training and motivational skills
to build employee brand-pride and enthusiasm as a means of
overall brand-building. Overtime this service broadened
into more mainstream marketing, but always with an
emphasis on:
* Building internal brand pride to build external brand
appeal, and
* Building business results through increased
profitability and market-share for clients.
Due to
the effectiveness of this unique programmes and the
positive impact they had on corporate performance,
thewinwingroup established offices in Johannesburg, Cape
Town and Durban as well as a small operation in Holland to
service their motor industry clients.
thewinwingroup also started handling projects throughout
Africa, which was ideally suited to thewinwingroup’s
activation and theatrical approach to brand and consumer
education and sales.
As part of this drive into Africa, in the early 2000’s
thewinwingroup started picking up projects in Namibia and
did the internal brand/culture alignment programme for
Bank Windhoek, as well as motivational programmes for O&L
and Telecom Namibia. |

What
We Believe In |
| |
|
Our
mantra is a quote from Dr. Lovemore Mbigi who said:
“In Africa you can not affect change with a memo. You must
touch the hearts and minds of the people.”
And this
is exactly what our agency is all about - reaching the
people in personal meaningful and memorable ways that have
enduring effects for every project we run.
Yet our business is not just for the benefit of our staff
and stakeholders but also for the benefit of our community
and our country.
A case in point is when, in mid-2009 thewinwingroup
Namibia donated our time, skill and resources to running
free public education activations in Windhoek’s high
density suburbs to education the people on the H1N1
epidemic. This was done free of charge for the Ministry of
Health.
Also working with non-profit organizations and NGO’s like
GTZ (who we have done activations and road-shows for
educating the public about HIV/AIDS, occupational health
and social ills such as domestic violent and alcohol
abuse), is enormously rewarding on a human level. As we
are able to facilitate change and education that helps
uplift and improve the lives of Namibians through these
projects, allowing us to really touch the hearts and minds
of the people.
We believe in running our business with integrity keeping
in mind that if we add value to our clients, they add
value to us. Therefore delivering good creative is
standard for thewinwingroup; our point of difference is
our focus on bottomline results and on giving relevant
strategic advice so that we become a strategic partner to
our clients, ensuring that all marketing and communication
initiatives give the greatest effectiveness and
consequently the greatest value for money. |
